PRINCE SULTAN IBN ABDUL AZIZ RECEIVES CONGRATULATIONS FROM ARAB AND FOREIGN LEADERS FOR THE SUCCESS OF THE SURGERY HE UNDERWENT AND RECEIVES VISITS FROM THE KING OF BAHRAIN, THE GRAND MUFTI, ULAMAS, MINISTERS, MILITARY OFFICIALS AND CITIZENS.


The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Ibn Abdul Aziz has sent a reply cable of thanks to Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah for his brotherly feelings and best wishes for the successful surgery which was undergone by Prince Sultan Ibn Abdul Aziz, the Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General.

The King wished Prince Sultan a quick recovery and good health. A similar reply cable was also sent to the Kuwaiti Emir by Crown Prince Abdullah Ibn Abdul Aziz, the Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of the National Guard.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Ibn Abdul Aziz has sent a reply cable of thanks to Palestine's Premier Ahmed Qurie for his best wishes on the successful surgery which was undergone by Prince Sultan Ibn Abdul Aziz, the Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General.

The King wished Prince Sultan a quick recovery.

A similar reply cable was also sent to the Palestinian Premier by Crown Prince Abdullah Ibn Abdul Aziz, the Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard.

On the other hand the 14th International Conference of Environment has awarded its honorary membership to Prince Sultan Ibn Abdul Aziz, the Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General and Chairman of Board of Directors of National Commission for Wildlife Conservation and Development in recognition of the Kingdom's efforts in the field of environment protection, natural resources, and continual international contribution to environmental affairs.

The conference, held in Alexandria on May 7-8, also decided to award its honorary memberships to Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister and Commission's Managing Director and Prince Turki Ibn Nasser Ibn Abdul Aziz, the General President of Meteorology and Environment Protection.

Earlier, Prince Sultan won Peace and Environment Prize for 2003 awarded by Munich-based Arab and European Cooperation Center.
